Got back from a little vacation with all the yard and house stuff to take care of my time is very limited but I got a few things done...
Subframe painted and bushings removed and installed
New gasket and redline gear oil in the Diff
...ready for install.... I also was able to remove the rear brake T since I will be replacing it and the 2 hard lines
Drive shaft waiting to be assembled with new center bearing
Happy the way the wheel wells turned out they are now nice and dry and free of rust and crap..
Some of the parts awaiting install
Got the trailing arms from the U.S can you tell which ones are canadian... LOL...
The passenger trailing arm needs a new wheel bearing but that the risk when you buy used but still leaps and bounds better then what was in there...
Lots of OEM parts coming this week from "Arek" at 8legsracing.com...
According to my timeline next week I need to get the car back on its 4 wheels..
Also need to figure how Im going to remove the stuck E brakes cables that I need to replace with new ones...

undercoating finished....subframe ....diff...
Tonight I finished the undercoating under the whole car.... 30 minutes to apply and 10 hours to scrub out all the old tar, rust...etc...
passenger side almost done
drying... this stuff you have to make sure you buy the good stuff rubberized that is paintable
it becomes hard but yet still flexible and wont crack or trap moisture.
Diff cover painted with high heat paint (still need to replaced the bushing) and the pumpkin painted as well...
Subframe bushings removed and derusted, primed and painted..
Now I think its time for a little time off... on time with my timeline.... 5 more weeks to go!!

Subframe is down..... and my dad's help..
My Dad came over to help me bring down the subframe ...Thanks Dad :)
One thing I learned by doing this.... (take down the four bolts from the DIFF and driveshaft before anything else ....)
Damn am happy its down... now I need to order a lot of parts ..... AREK get ready!!
took 5 minutes with the electric impact to dismantle the subframe trailing arms...
Now next is removing all the crap from under the car and wheel wells and derust, clean, paint..etc...
Again Thanks DAD :))) It meant a lot to me your help... first time me and my dad work together on my car..

no more paint for 2-3 weeks on to the rear suspension...
So I got the final coat in last night and I will wait another 2-3 weeks for the paint to harden up so I can do the final wetsand 1000-2000 grits then its polish time and wax.
car is already dirty lol...
Getting the car ready for this weekend rear subframe/suspension overhaul...
can already imagine the amount of work ahead but its a nice change from all the painting..
Got to cut that exhaust tip its at least 4 inches too long..lol..
See you Saturday Steve.... I really appreciate your help :)

3rd coat applied last night...

First coat applied...
Well last night 10:30PM to 12:23PM I applied my first coat....after spending previous days sanding it down.
Hopefully the paint will be dry tonight around 8:00PM and ready for coat number 2. I plan on multiple thin coats to minimize the wetsanding we will see how that works out.
I need to get this car all painted before the 16 so I can start the tear down on the rear sub frame.
sanding is no fun....
I got so much respect for the guys that work all day doing this...
